Makisig Morales: ‘Super bait po pala talaga ni Zaijian’
Super Inggo star Makisig Morales makes a comeback on Primetime TV as he guests on the top-rating show, May Bukas Pa. He was very excited when the role was first offered to him, knowing that he would be working with May Bukas Pa star Zaijian Jaranilla. “Unang-una po, masaya po ako para kay Zaijian, kasi nabigyan po siya ng magandang break. Tsaka po nagpapasalamat ako at masaya din po ako kasi alam ko pong magiging magkaibigan po kami ni Zaijian, idol ko na rin siya kasi idol po siya ng mga kapatid ko eh. Gabi-gabi po namin siya pinapanood.”
True enough, in the short time that they worked together, Makisig said that they have become good friends. “Madalas po kami nagkukulitan sa set. Nung unang taping pa lang po namin, super magkaibigan na po kami. Madali po siya kaibiganin, super bait po pala talaga niya.” He also shared that his favorite scene was the rain scene, where he and Zaijian really had a lot of fun.
Makisig will play Jepoy, the brother of Father Patrick (Ruben Gonzaga), who sacrifices his childhood to earn a living for his family. He shared that his role is a lot different from his previous role in Super Inggo. “Ang kaibahan po kasi dun po sa Super Inggo, eh si Budong ay isang superhero, dito po siya ay natural na tao na naghihirap pero nagsisikap. Hindi po siya makapaglaro kasi sobrang dami po ng ginagawa niya, kung hindi po siya magtatrabaho, wala po silang kakainin,” Makisig shared.
“Pagsisikap at pagmamahal sa pamilya at mga kapatid,” is what Makisig said he learned from the story and from his role. He added that like his role as Jepoy, he has lot of dreams for his family and always prays for their good life together.
“Ibang-iba talaga sa Super Inggo. Dapat panuorin nila ito kasi magaganda yung mga eksena, maraming twists, kaya dapat abangan,” Makisig said. “Congratulations sa May Bukas Pa at kay Zaijian sana magkasama pa tayo sa ibang shows.”
